Stocks are fairly easy to find; and many different styles available. I owned a Smith & Wesson rifle built by Husqvarna in the early 1970s. It was based on the Husqvarna Model 8000. This was not a Mauser 98 action, being more like a Remington 700. There was a trigger adjustment screw accessible in the tang portion of the receiver, just behind the sear; this being its most memorable feature IMO. Welcome!

Very slick operation Trigger is crisp and has a side safety. No idea whether it is factory or after-market but it does not appear to be a modern aftermarket trigger like a Timney.
